This series of posters visually depicts the story behind the origin of three musical instruments used in Latin American today. In these posters, I overlayed images of maps dating back to the 1700's that I found in the Africana collection at Northwestern University. Layered on top of the maps are images of the instruments manipulated with a watercolor texture. This series won 1st place at the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) regional Steal This Idea Design Competition.
